Innovation Day presentations

The Innovation Day, 17th November, proved a useful source of inspiration for exhibitors keen to make the most of the opportunities that arise from exhibiting at a big event like Hotelympia.

If you were unable to attend the Innovation Day, the presentations can be downloaded here.


1. EXHIBITOR ZONE

USERNAME & PASSWORD

The Exhibitor Zone allows you to actively promote yourself on www.hotelympia.com and lets visitors find you on the website.

  • Log on to www.hotelympia.com and follow the links to the Exhibitor Zone
  • Enter your account number & password (already emailed to you)
     

WEB LISTING

  • The first time you enter the Exhibitor Zone you will be asked to select the product categories you supply
  • Submit up to 10 product categories that visitors would use to find you
  • Then, choose between a Standard or EnhancedListing – think of your listing as a shop window and a way to make an impression on visitors/web audience before the show & generate leads/stand traffic

How to use your Standard Listing – (For every exhibitor – worth £195)

  • Click ‘contact details’ under 'Company' to amend or add to your company details which are already live on the website.  Simply type over any existing details to make corrections and press ‘Submit’
  • To create a hyperlink to your own website, enter your full website address and ‘Submit’ to save changes
  • Click on ‘company profile’ under 'Company' to add your company description of approximately 50 words
  • Click on ‘company logo’ to add your company logo to your company description
  • Click on ‘press releases’ under 'Promotion' to add your company press releases to your page
  • SHOWCASE A NEW PRODUCT FOR FREE. Generate more visitor interest by uploading an image and description to support your company details. Simply click on ‘product gallery’ under 'Promotion'

2. DIRECT MARKETING ESSENTIALS

Visitors need to see a message up to SEVEN times before they act – why not make one of those messages an invitation from your company – an easy opportunity to make your customers feel special!

PRINTED VISITOR TICKETS

  • We strongly recommend you use your allocation of free tickets effectively – they are posted out by end of November and on a rolling basis after that. You will receive 300 free visitor tickets if you have booked up to a 21m² stand and 500 tickets if your stand is over 21m².
  • You could send them in an existing mailing or send out a specific invitation. Enclose a covering letter from your company, attracting customers to your stand. Let them know that you would value a visit from them and highlight why a visit to your stand would be beneficial

EMAIL VISITOR TICKETS

  • An e-ticket is an electronic version of the printed ticket above – achieve the same goal minus the cost of postage! (We recommend both routes though)
  • The e-ticket is a quick and cost effective way to invite your key clients to the show and it includes your company branding for a personal touch
  • The best time to send out your e-ticket is 1-4 weeks before the show
  • If you would like your own personalised e-ticket, email your logo and 20 words ‘inviting visitors to your stand’ to kiernan.busher@freshrm.co.uk

3. SHOW CATALOGUE

Submit your catalogue entry via the Exhibitor Zone – detailed in Section 1

  • The A4 catalogue will be the indispensable buyers’ guide for the industry’s key influencers and purchasers
  • Your company name, stand number and a 50-word profile will appear free of charge in the catalogue
  • Please submit your 50 words for the catalogue online through the Exhibitor Zone of the Hotelympia website by 3 February 2012 to ensure your free entry

**Catalogue Deadline - 3 February 2012**

  • The 2012 catalogue will be available to each and every visitor and is an excellent way to promote your company, not just during the show but also for many months after, as requests for catalogues continue long after the show
  • There are many opportunities to enhance your catalogue entry from placing adverts to inserting bookmarks

4. PR SUPPORT

Take advantage of Hotelympia 2012’s energetic PR team at Jellybean Creative Solutions and do the best to ensure that your company gains coverage in the national and international trade media as well as Hotelympia press releases and the preview brochure that goes to our pre-registered audience.

6. Innovation Awards

The Innovation Awards return to Hotelympia bigger, brighter and better - and once again highlighting that Hotelympia 2012 is the only place to see the latest industry innovation across the board.

This year six finalists in each award section (equipment, design, technology and food & drink) will receive:
