The Kensington Close Hotel is undertaking a major refurbishment and expansion project that will transform the hotel into one of London’s largest four-star city hotels by 2012.
Construction work has already begun on the 175 room extension which also includes extensive refurbishment work of the current; reception, conference suites, banqueting facility, bars/restaurants and all existing 550 guest rooms.
The Hotel owners said of the development “We have a vision of creating the best 4* hotel in West London, the new Food and Beverage facilities will play an important role in turning that vision into a reality”. Choosing the right EPoS provider was therefore tremendously important to us.”
“ASP demonstrated their product delivers great speed, reliability and scalability. We were also impressed by the reporting function which will give us centralised view of each F&B outlet. We are delighted to have ASP by our side during this exciting journey.”
“Commander EPoS software has a fast transaction facility of just 3 seconds per order, making it a clear winner on performance” explains William Connors, IT Manager of ASP Systems.
“ASP also leads the way in terms of reliability with the Lynx and Panther hardware platforms. As a workgroup PoS terminal the Lynx system is ideal, the design has eliminated any moving parts whatsoever; this vastly reduces any points of failure, consequently the prospect of downtime is substantially diminished.”
“The Panther system is perfect for use as a master till. As master tills have greater dependency placed upon them, the Panther is equipped with faster processors and a level of hardware redundancy usually reserved for file servers - making the system highly available and the smart choice for restaurants and bars.”
