As a specialist supplier of linen hire and laundry services for the catering, hotel and leisure industries, Johnsons Stalbridge Linen Services prides itself on providing a premium quality service on either a permanent or temporary hire basis. This, coupled with the company’s unique ‘no contract’ policy, enables customers to enjoy a high degree of flexibility and service. Customers can increase or decrease stocks as and when required, or exchange garments, without any hidden costs, cancellation fees or residual charges.
The company has grown significantly since it began in 1975, when experienced laundryman David Coulter set up a small business catering for wine bars in London. David then set up a base in Milbourne Port, Dorset – premises which are still used today – before developing another site in Shaftesbury, now the company’s head office. The company grew rapidly, mostly through recommendation, and further sites soon followed in Sturminster Newton, Dorset, and also in Glasgow. Stalbridge became part of the Johnson Service Group in 1995.
2012 has been an exciting time already for Stalbridge with the roll-out of their new Premier range of linen. “The way we’ve developed the range means we’ve been able to incorporate effortless style and functionality into the products, and they keep their shape beautifully,” comments David Hill, sales and marketing director of Stalbridge Linen. “The development of the Premier range represents a major investment in high quality new stock for our customers.”
